From Guadalajara to Edenhope, Mexico’s Renee is exploring Australia for the first time, drawing inspiration from the local landscapes for her art. A talented painter, she’s also a multidisciplinary artist, delving into photography, sound installations, and embroidery. Renee’s passion for trucks runs deep—her father sells them in Mexico and even has a YouTube channel dedicated to them. While in Australia, she’s capturing shots of trucks and dreams of seeing a road train. Renee also loves our 1980s rock scene, with Aussie bands like Men at Work making a big impact on her.

Renee is one of the four artists whose visit has been sponsored by West Wimmera Shire council as part of the business innovation grant in 2024.
